Minister of Higher Education meets Canadian Ambassador: Cooperation with developed countries is a priority

Dr. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, affirmed the depth of the relations between Egypt and Canada, particularly in the fields of education, science and culture. He called for greater cooperation by providing scholarships, scientific missions and joint research programs in priority areas. Canadian ambassador to Cairo, Datoon, on Tuesday. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in higher education and scientific research between the two countries and benefit from the experience of Egyptian scientists in Canada in the development of higher education to serve future generations in Egypt.

The Canadian ambassador stressed the keenness of his country to promote and encourage bilateral cooperation with Egypt during the coming period, and his country’s readiness to provide all means of support to promote the educational process in Egypt. He directed the minister to visit the Canadian universities participating in the project to establish the Canadian University in the new administrative capital in November; Cooperation with Egyptian universities, learning about educational programs at Canadian universities, and participation in the conference on higher education to be held next March.
