This came during a meeting between Minister Gess Dutton and Ambassador Al-Katti in Cairo on Tuesday evening. And in attendance Dr. Magdy El-Qadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian International College in Egypt, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, the minister referred to the strength and strength of the relations between Egypt and Canada. Adding that Canada is coming in presented by the countries agreed upon to establish a complex in the Science City in the new administrative capital. Includes Branches of five Canadian Universities. Expressing his happiness with the steps that have been implemented in this project. With the aim of completing it as soon as possible.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in higher education and scientific research between the two countries. And to benefit from experience of Egyptian scientists in Canada in the development of higher education: to serve future generations in Egypt.
The Canadian ambassador stressed his country’s keenness to promote and encourage bilateral cooperation with Egypt during the next period. And the readiness of his country to provide all means of support for the advancement of the educational process in Egypt. Directed invitation for the Canadian Minister to visit the Canadian universities participating in the project of establishing the Canadian University in the new administrative capital during the month of November: to support the cooperation between them and the Egyptian universities and identify programs
